-What got you into radio? When I was a student at Radford University, I had a great opportunity to do a 2 hour long weekly sports show with Radio Free Radford and Highlander Student Media and I fell in love with how open and improvisational radio was! I wound up leading Radio Free Radford for two years until I graduated. I have kept up the show though on my YouTube channel (its called The Rines Report).
-What was/is your all time favorite toy? Transformers! Best Christmas gift I think I’ve ever gotten was this big transformer that you could transform into a planet called Unicron!
-Do you have any cool talents/skills? I can draw! Kind of. When I was a young lad I wanted to go to art school!
-Who is your favorite sports team(s)? New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox, and Boston Bruins!
-If you won a million dollars, what would be the first thing you would buy? Pay off them student loans! After that I would probably get a new car then save it all for when I needed it later in life for bigger stuff.
-What is your favorite movie of all time? her. I love Joaquin Pheonix and Scarlett Johanson along with Spike Jonze’s directing. Its a beautiful story that honestly made me cry the first time I watched it.
-If you could only play one video game for the rest of your life, what would it be? I do enjoy some video games…probably God of War. Its a long and amazing story with some incredible gameplay elements that I have enjoyed during every part of the series.
-Who is your celebrity crush? Ana De Armas or Halsey I guess?
-What is your biggest fear? Accidentally falling and shattering all my teeth. It’s pretty impractical but I can’t and don’t want to imagine how much that would hurt.
-If you could see anyone perform live (living or dead) who would it be? Run the Jewels! One of my favorite things I own is a Run the Jewels denim jacket and I wear it whenever I can.
-What is your biggest pet peeve? Messy people. It sketches me out when I walk into someone’s home and it looks like they’ve never heard of a trash can.
-What’s your favorite drink at the bar? My favorite beer that I’ve had recently is probably Death By Coconut. Its a dark, rich, beer that just hits the spot.
-Do you have any pets? I have a cat, her name is Cassie, and she is annoyingly affectionate.
-What was your first concert? Lil Dicky at Virginia Tech. Got those stereotypical seats where I was behind the tallest guy there, but after I got a view I had a great time!
-What is your favorite food? Love me a good steak. Cooked medium rare with a smooth beer to drink. Makes me happy.
-Do you have any cool tattoos or piercings? I have two tattoos. One on my shoulder and on my side and I really wish I could keep working down my arm.
-What was the biggest fad you got into? Memes! I love them, I create them, and I’ve even gotten top 25 on Reddit before!
-If you could hop into the DeLorean and travel back/forwarded to anytime/place. . . where/when/why? Probably Super Bowl 51. I remember watching the game, the Pats being down at the half by 25, then winning in OT. I would love to have experienced that in person.
